Painting Party
Regular readers know that H and I are in the habit of neglecting our blog after a visit. Perhaps it is because we've just seen each other, and find the blog cold and impersonal (mockery is so much better in person, no?). However, the weekend was a success.- Did we (M) paint? Yes, almost every wall in her apartment. C'est magnifique!
- Did H finally buy furniture? In theory, yes. The delivery services forget that a key part of their job is delivering said furniture.
- What about money. Did M spend it all? Hmm. A fair chunk. H needed a lot, but she'll be happier for it.
- Will H be OK, financially? Of course! She has enough left that she won't need to rent out her air mattress to the neighbourhood crack whores.
- Was M harassed by airport security? Yes, she was politely groped by a respectful guard. But he did ask nicely.

If you like gin, you'll like H's weekend creation: combine equal parts of gin, lemonade and club soda over ice, garnish with frozen blueberries. As the blueberries thaw, their juices mix into the drink for a funky effect. Seriously tasty stuff.

The legs they are very nice, so good to see H in a skirt. and drinking. always nice combination.
Dennis will be over to claw the new sofa as soon as it is delivered.
I think the sisters are clearly showing here that with effort, sisters of any age can shed old patterns and forge new relationships through teamwork and creative bar tending. The drink is on my "to mix" list.
I have a feeling the airport guards all wanted to ask M for a respectful grope--but they let less beautiful people cruise right through.

I was just about to suggest that you change your blog's tagline to "Um, we're supposed to be writing a blog together, right?"
M, perhaps you should ave gifted H some of the more expensive items. This is expected of older sisters.
Has the sofa arrived yet? Me, Dennis and some pals want to come over and "test' it out (claw, shed) with your cats. Got to get rid of that "new couch" smell.
I read on Dennis's blog that you got an embroidered duvet cover! does this mean you got a bed frame?
Honey H, the boudoir is SO important! Sleeping in a divine room is so much more luxurious.
I'm on pins and needles wondering how everything looks now.
